How to Use Computer Software to Budget Yourself and Make More Money

I used to be like alot of you ,relying on my human mind to budget myself to some degree of success. However, sometimes figures get lost and bills that need to be paid do not get paid taking this old , unreliable approach.
For example, just four months ago , a bill had come to the home for the energy bill. I had anticipated this bill because I knew that my family had used up alot of energy the previous few months and that it would cost alot. This high cost meant that we would have to sacrifice a few fun but not necessary things in the following months, one such thing as our planned trip to our country place.
Now the day that this bill came, I paid it off immediately and it went totally out of my mind. I had other things on my mind, such as the car note, my phone bill, work, kids.etc. So much that in the weeks following the payment, i actually forgot that I made the payment.
I cannot tell you how much this put a strain on our summer activities and budget. Whenever someone in the family would come up with an idea, I would always shout back ," no we cannot do that, remember the huge bill that has to be paid!" . I would even do this when there was clearly enough money in our account to do whatever we had desired to do that weekend.
The situation finally got cleared up , about three weeks after I paid it, when I got tired of waiting and called the company up, to ask them if they had made a mistake. They then humbly replied, that " you already paid it sir" . I took that answer and ran with it for about 5 minutes until the memory struck me, that I had actually paid it and stopped our family from doing so many things because I forgotten.
Well, I will tell you ever since that day , I've almost become like a business, so organized, on the ball and able to budget any financial situation.I have gotten into the financial 21st century and picked up a program that helps me to budget everything related to my finances on the computer.By Dale Pindling
